I’m annais, an artist curious about sound, improvisation, collaboration, and arts-based community + kin making. Particularly, I’m interested in how these practices converge into rituals leading to the collective well-being and delight of humans and more-than-humans.
I am currently working on a Critical Studies in Improvisation PhD at the University of Guelph rooted in these topics as an antidote to species loneliness. I also enjoy performance, crafting soundscapes for alternative ways of being, and developing & facilitating arts-based eco-social programming.
