Creative Collective Community Arts Project Developer / Facilitator

Guelph Neighbourhood Support Coalition, Guelph, ON, Feb 2022–Present

  • Co-establish ethical guiding posts and discuss values with other program developers to work within a shared language prior to developing programs
  • Plan and design arts-based community workshops with program developers living in different neighbourhood groups based on our strengths and capacities
  • Train with local media centre EdVideo in digital storytelling to create projects with folks in the community 

Improvisation Project Coordinator

Musagetes Foundation and the International Institute for Critical Studies in Improvisation, Guelph, ON, Sep 2021–April 2022

  • In collaboration with the Two Rivers Neighbourhood Group, coordinated, developed, co-facilitated, and co-produced a 7-week arts-based community workshop series called Community Visioning and Instrument Building Workshops
  • Co-created with community participants a public musical instrument, installed at Guelph’s Huron Community Garden for public access
  • Co-produced a culminating public event at the Garden to showcase the instrument, share reflections with participants, and celebrate the workshop series’ success 
  • Wrote reflections and co-created videos for social media and web to share and document the work
  • Closely followed shifting public health guidelines, staying in communication with participants throughout the 7-week series

Willowcrest School for Neurodivergent Children, North Hollywood, CA, June 2021–Present

  • Write and edit communications to share programming, news and updates with prospective and attending families across social media, newsletter, and web platforms
  • Advertise with Google and Yelp Ads, supporting the school’s growth of number of attending students from zero to eight plus a waitlist, over the course of one year

  • Continued priorly conducted research to support planning of an inter-university program
  • Performed virtual outreach to IICSI partner institutions, meeting with three affiliated faculty to learn about their vision in the implementation of an inter-university plan
